From My Perspective Forum Don't know if I qualify

My book Trust and Integrity is autobiography mixed with fiction. I will also post my begun autobiography. Most of my poems tell of my memories and feelings but not sure these are memoirs?

Sure you do. Thank you for joining- we may be the only two, lol. I really want to explore writing from the first person perspective, in all genres, really. To me it is the most difficult because the writer must walk a fine line between revealing themselves yet not revealing too much. It's hard to filter what makes a good read, from what you experienced or felt- it means being constantly critical of who you really are because you don't have the cool distance of an observer. I've just read the first chapter and it's very good. I'm short on time now, and there is a lot to read, so I'll have to get back to it...but I like what I've read so far.
