My pen name is Alexis McLeod. I am a novice writer of fiction and I enjoy horror movies and horror literature. Horror, I believe, is a powerful genre in which one can speak to societal ills in a way that entertains and elucidates. There are so many scary things in the world that happen randomly and without reason. But in horror, you can can control the events, the narrative and even slip in purpose between the lines. 
We all want to have our work read and commented upon. So I would suggest that we practice reciprocation in this group. I will read and respond to works submitted here and hope that all members will do the same in a respectful manner.
