Noir is a Crime Forum The Procedure

Hey guys. I'm currently writing a crime novel and will be "killing my friends" and help me kind of get a visualization of how a "crime scene" should look. I was wondering if anyone had any websites or resources to help get the picture accurately.

Sorry, no website comes to mind. However, my nephew who is an officer in Portland Oregon told me that all the nice clean crime scenes shown on TV shows like CSI never really happens. The places he has gone to are mostly filthy, cluttered and stinking. I guess the point is, a crime scene can be what the place was like before the crime occurred. Just add blood and maybe some tossed furniture.
