It's an old piece from high school. The original is *I'm not going to lie* pretty bad. If the original is too difficult or laborous to read, read the revised version. Either or will count.

2. Revise the story you see fit
That's where you can YOU to the picture. What is the story about, you ask? You tell me.
You can try to keep the revision somewhat close to the original (which ever you decide to call the original).
You can expand on the ideas in the story. You might not even need to write in the same genre as you think the piece was in. I'm sure the trouble you'd have with that one is coming up with a romance spin off when the entire piece is, well... isolated.
You can write a story based off it.
