Why are too many people writing senryus?
I wish I knew.

They are lazy... I am not lazy I even looked up what I senryus was xD because I didn't know. but I read them all the time and hate it. It is like,  you wasted me time sending me a read request for this? They are for people with writing block. Or people desperate for reviews. I wish people would stop with writing so many poems. Some people write like 20 a day like that and it is very annoying. I think this site should be cleaned out, or have a separate section for books, and stories, that way things are more even, such as, Popular, poem, popular story, popular novel. Most reviewed. Most read. Highest stars. Most recommended... Something like that for each of them...

Too many people here are writing so they can be a show-off.

Also there's the people who write 20+ poems a week.
They want me to review their stuff, and it's all the same.
All their new stuff is like their old stuff.

I try to avoid writing poems, I only write them when I have somethign that I want to be be said... but not in a story way. I usually don't sent read requests for my poems anymore, because I know people write to many and I would rather have people read my stories and books...
