Sci Fi & Fantasy Writers at the Table Forum Introduction

Hi everyone,

My name is JT, and I'm an aspiring novelist currently working as a teacher. I have a few projects I'm working on, but most of my effort is going into a humorous erotic fantasy novel with the working title Solecism of Innocence. I've got the story blocked out, and I'm currently working on the first draft.

I decided to write erotica as a challenge. I wanted to push myself by writing something I'm comfortable with (fantasy and scifi) and mix it with something new (sex). I'm working on my confidence, and writing is helping me accomplish that.

I decided to avoid purely erotic writing groups because I still want to focus on fantasy related themes and story lines, and most of those groups are fairly cringy in my experience. That being said, if graphic sex descriptions make you uncomfortable, please avoid reading the chapters I'm posting; my goal is that every single chapter will have a sex scene that advances the plot or characterization.
