New? Introduce yourself!15 Years AgoI am a 14 year old boy who wishes to pursue a great career in education and in writing. My goal is to tell people that even teens can do extraordinary things and maybe even better than the older adults. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am going into high school next year starting August 24th. I plan to write about my journey through high school throughout the years, keeping a journal to record events. I hope to receive extensive feedback from great writers like you. So, thank you very much, and I hope we can be great friends. |

[no subject]14 Years AgoI'm also 14, and my real name isn't Kaiko. Kaiko means "mysterious light" in some language(most likely Japanese, because I love Japan more than most countries) and my real name is Sarah. I've always thought myself independent, no matter what age I was. Looking back, it's kind of funny that I was like that, but I get highly offended being told I can't do something because I'm a teen or "immature." So that is why I joined =] Anyways, I have a few passions, including horseback riding, quad riding, drawing(though it is difficult because I hate my own drawings), music, anime =P, and oddly, my favorite video game, Kingdom Hearts. And I love writing, but only to feel like I'm living a different life, because I won't lie, my life is boring, and it's nice to feel like another person. Does that make me psycho?

[no subject]14 Years Agohey, i'm jo! i'm turning sixteen very soon (license~ woo!) but my many hobbies and interests include violin, piano, ballet, musical theatre, soccer, track, AP classes :p, and writing. i have a kitty named corndog and two little brothers that constantly remind me of monkeys on crack, but they're okay, as long as you tune them out. :P i've heard some people tell me my writing is phenomenal, but since i seem to have OCD, i can't really see that for myself. I think poems much more difficult to write, sometimes, than a short story or other works. I hope to have my first book finished by the time i'm sixteen (...i better get started!) whether it be a book of poems or a novel, and to start teaching piano lessons this september so that I can continue to pay for dance. some of my favorite books include: everything that is shakespeare or jane austen, lots of orson scott card, bits and pieces of steinbeck, and 1984, the scarlet letter, and some of stephenie meyer's work. i don't really have too much time to be on here, as a result of the copious amounts of schoolwork and extracurricular work i have laid out for myself, but i look forward to being a part of this group! :) ~j

[no subject]14 Years AgoHey, my name is Josh and I'm 17. I'm going to be 18 later on this month though. What is there to say? I always have so much trouble writing an about me or biographies of sorts because I'm constantly changing. I guess the only thing that doesn't really change is my love for the arts. Every single one of them. I do my best to take part in something that incorporates at least one aspect of the different kinds (write stories, lyrics, play guitar, sing, paint, draw, take photographs, act, make films). I guess I'm a "jack of all trades", but that doesn't mean that I'm cocky, stuck-up, or overly confident. Just the opposite actually. I have a lot of problems with myself, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. It always gives a reason to improve. I hope I didn't come of as too uptight or anything. xDD I actually have a very hyper and off-the-wall kind of personality, but when I write I tend to get really serious. ._.

I'm a 13 year old girl and I just got into writing. I use to despise writing, but I've recently discovered just how wonderful it can me. I'm working on a couple of things now; I've put one story up on WC intitled The Paw that Rocks the Cradle... Umm, that's just about it...*Feels extreamly awkward* |

I love to read, write and play soccer. My two dogs are my running partners and my iPod is my reading buddy :) Surfing is awesome, and so is talking. There's no such thing as too much music or to little time. I have pretty bad eye sight.. I need glasses or else I can't see something that's like 15 feet in front of me.. hehe.. Uhmm, thats just a quick thing. I also love laughing and just hanging out with friends... If I'm not reading, writing, talking, playing soccer or hanging out with my friends then I'm more than likely doing school work, or just talking to my dad.. :-) So yeah.. Nothing really all that special about me.. :-) |

I really want to be published. Im going to college right now to become an english teacher for 10 and 12th grade. I love reviews and read requests so please do both <3 thankyou

Re: New? Introduce yourself!14 Years AgoHello. I'm Tanece and I am 15 years old. I am currently enjoying my Freshman year of High School, and I must say that it is great. I have 3.7 GPA and I have been writing since I was in the 5th grade. I've written seven stories. Well actually their books, but I probably won't get those published. Their more for looking back and seeing how much my witing has progressed. Its really inspiring when I look back and compare my work.
I dream of becoming an author and I am currently working on a novel that will be the first in an upcoming series of mine. If you want to know about it just ask. I don't bite.

I'm homeschooled, but I'm absolutely nothing like the stereotypes of home educated kids. I'm a solid B+ average student, although I do get A's sometimes, so my GPA is like a 3.7 or 3.8. I plan to go to college and become a teen/young adult author, music critic, community relations specialist or a graphic designer. Let's see, what else.... well, I LOVE music, particularly punk rock/heavy metal/alternative stuff. I hate hip-hop, it's terrible.

I write mainly Romance poems because i draw so much of what i write about from our relationship. ummm.... Let me think... So anyway, I am 13 and about to go into eighth grade. I love to write, even though most of the time it ends up being boring. I guess you could say I have social problems...I don't really have any friends; I'm kind of a loner. Writing helps me escape reality and get caught up in whatever world I am currently creating. I usually start a book but never finish because I get another idea! :) I like to obsess over weird things like fonts. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and get an excited feeling, knowing that I am going to read something today (which just adds to my oddness)!
So yes, I think that's about it. :P

Re: New? Introduce yourself!13 Years AgoI am a thirteen year old girl named Veronica and I will be going into 8th grade next year. I love to write when I'm bored, and I like to play sports sometimes. I love hockey and track, plus I'm in martial arts. (taekwondo.) I guess you could say I have a lot of friends, but when I get random scenes in my head, I tend to write them.
P.S.- To "Linda", you have a lot of friends!!!! (Including me cuz i know you in real life.)

I like to have a good time and I don't take many things very seriously. I love writing, music, and riding. I've wanted to be an author for as long as I can remember and I still haven't given up that dream! I play the bass, and music is one of my biggest passions. I've been doing jumpers (that's on horses) for a few years now and I love it. Other than that, I like talking to awesome people and reading awesome writing, so I'm looking forward to doing that!

It's my nickname, that my German friend gave me, because I'm stubborn and true about what I believe in. Anyway, don't mean to give y'all a moral lesson. I'm thirteen! And loving it! I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and haven't stopped loving it! Unlike lots of people (and stereotypes) I'm artistic, and scientific. I find ways to incorporate God and science into lots of stuff I do. The biggest nerd you will ever met over here! Any space question you have, ask me, I'm happy to try to help... wow. I like this place, I can be MYSELF... I love this... I think I'll stay!

My name is Blossom <not real> and I'm 15 years old. I've been writing every since they introduced it in grade 3 and lately my poems have taken a darker road. though sometimes they are in the romance genre. I wish to become a neurologist but would love to continue my writing. Most people seem to think that I'm very naive and immature and to some degree I am, but not so much that I can't do stuff that I'm supposed to. I'm some what obnoxious and at times I can be very sarcastic and rude, but all the same I love my friends and family. My close friends think I'm very arrogant. and I love reading!!!! it's my life. |

Pimples from Hawaii and people here are more not that excited to write than I am but I believe that anyone can write if they see a younger generation do it.
