The Group for anyone! Forum So, I just had an idea...

What about if there was a writing group dedicated to all writing one book?  I'm imagining about fifty writers, all writing ten pages or so in a day.  They do this because someone has written an outline, and someone agrees to be the editor.  So the editor gives each person a chapter to write, and the individual writer writes that chapter.  Then they all turn their work into the editor, who does proofreading, formatting, all kinds of stuff to make it somewhat uniform. 

If this worked, what an awfully fast way to write a book.
