The Writer In All Of Us Forum Favorite subject/genre

What's your favorite subject/genre to write about?

I personally like family tragedy. I like writing about how people mourn over the loss of a loved one, or about child abuse, or family murder, etc. I've been told that I'm emo on the inside because of my writing. I really don't mind. Cause I like writing about those subjects. Someone's got to, right?
