In dreams we run away,
Escape from the hurts of day.
And in our thoughts we drift from here,
Harsh reality is no more, dear.

In the flowing plains we'll lie,
Under stars in the night sky.
In a land where we long to be,
Endless joy as deep as the sea.

Forever we wish to stay,
Forever if we may.
And so we write it for those to read,
Our imagination for them to heed.
