My name is Lydia. I am an aspiring writer/poet and photographer.

I feel like writing is in my blood. My late uncle was an author and my mother's side is full of English teachers, journalists, and essayists.

I was fairly close the the uncle I mentioned. He killed himself in 2008. As a way to cope, I wrote it all down in stanzas. And it helped so much. I've been doing this for four years now.

My poems are usually dark. Some contain triggering subjects such as rape and abuse. I would just like to say that none of this has ever happened to me. They are actually based off dreams I have constantly.
