About Me

10/31/2017

My contributions to this site began in 2007 and mostly ended in 2011. I made several close friends here, but life took me elsewhere and I thought writing was a past-time. Recently, while experiencing some major life changes (always good for pen and paper) and gearing up for NaNoWriMo, I've been writing again.

2/17/2018

I have unpublished my work from WC as the servers seem unstable and most of the people I knew have moved on. I am publishing work at Medium.com/@daphelbawrites under the pen name Daphelba DeBeauvoir.

Feel free to look for me there if you remember my work and want to see what I'm up to these days. :)

it is mostly poetry

so many have left here, and I still remember the sting from some bad experiences here, not really writing as much as I used to, I guess

every thing changes

Oh yeah, waaaay too busy! I did get to take a vacation though last week which was amazing. Hopefully I can put some sort of a manuscript together soon and get something published already lol.

And so, let us abandon reason to converse in rhyme (reality)

Thank you so much for all the reviews!

I love your poetry for every reason in the world.

But I love your reviews for two reasons:

1) Humans are selfish and like s**t for themselves

2) You give me something to think about! Obviously, constructive criticism is always great... but a lot of the time you respond with poetry of your own, eating it up and spitting up a new perspective. (Okay, "spitting up" is an awful metaphor, especially since I"m trying to display gratitude here... obviously I'm not nearly as competent as you are, here)

Yay, you!
