I am new to this forum but love to write. My life experiences are quite varied and may be unique to many. I am a female and ran away from home at 17 years old, was lucky and smart enough to always to find legitimate though sometimes unglamorous work like cleaning toilets, bartended in many cities in the US and Europe, often working under the table, never prostituted myself and then worked my way through college earning my Master's as a Nurse Practitioner. I provide care to the homeless, indigent, underserved and undocumented people in San Francisco who are currently living similar lives to mine in the past. In college I excelled at creative writing but chose a life of caring for others because I knew this would be fulfilling for me. Now, I am ready to try a new venue for my writing skills if I have not yet lost the ability to be creative.
