my name is melanie. sometimes i write it melohknee. because I think it's funny to watch people try to pronounce it. is that weird? usually, people call me mel. you can, if you want. basically, I write to figure stuff out. is it just me, or does everything make more sense when it rhymes? I'm dyslexic, so i have a lot of poems flying around in my head, and it takes me forever to get them out. every poem is kind of a part of me. or maybe a burden that i've finally shed. either way, I wouldn't be able to get by without them.
