About Me

Not much to tell. I'm 27 and live BFE, Nebraska. I'm married, have no children (though we are trying) and I have two dogs, Crockett and Kendra.

Poetry is my passion. I love to write it and I love to read it. Someday I hope to make a career of it. I started writing as a means to cope with the difficult life that I was blessed with. A little background there.....I was diagnosed with renal disease when I was 13. Eventually I was put on dialyisis until I recieved a kidney transplant on Oct. 19th, 1997. I was a Jr. in HS. That was great-not really but those days are far gone....I was heading off to college at Creighton University in Omaha when that kidney rejected. College and dialysis didn't work out well together and so reluctantly I moved back home. I recieved another transplant March 9th, 2003 and have been doing wonderfully ever since. I wouldn't change my life, not for anything. Even though I'm frustrated with where I'm at in life right now and want so badly to go back to college someday. Things just haven't worked out to allow that to happen yet.
I've saved the better of my works throughout the years, but just in the last 3 years or so, have I really started to come alive with my writing. I found a new love and passion in writing. I've found it's beauty. About a year ago, a dear friend pushed me towards refining my writing and giving proper form to my words. And since, I've experimented with so many different forms and styles of poetry that I never knew existed. Some are much better than others, but they have all been fun to write and a wonderful learning experience for me.

I absolutely love any and all feedback on my poetry---The good, the bad and the indifferent! I'm always looking to improve my work, so constructive criticism is always welcome! I also love to make my readers feel and imagine when they read my work, so I'd love to hear those kind of thoughts as well.

So yeah...I guess that's all I can think of right now. If ya wanna know something more, feel free to ask!!
