well, i had 1 person who read the entire first 57 chapters of my latest novel in 1 day flat, so it must not take too long to read it, though most people see the number of chapters & won't even look at the book, it sucks because writing novels requires so much more commitment on the part of the author, that feedback is that much more important to them, but no one will ever bother to give any, just because it is longer than 1 or 2 lame paragraphs *sigh*
