I taught history at Coral Gables High School for 35 years, retired, reconsidered and went to work for Gulliver Prep in Pinecrest, Florida. Six years later I felt ready for retirement but again found it less than rewarding.
It was then that I took up writing. At first I wrote only short pieces less than a page in length and store them in My Documents. It was my wife who suggested I take a writing class, though she had never read any of what I had set aside.
I recently completed my first novel, The Ghost and Mrs. Sweeney: Starting Over, which has been submitted to Kindle Scout for preview.
