Dying Today

Dying Today

A Poem by *~WildFire~*

Dying Today

This is my devestation

You are my frustration

I can't take the pain

I might die today.

God can you hear me?

Can you hear my filthy plea?

I'm taking in so much

I'm dying today.

I haven't given up.

And I still can't let go.

I don't have the strength,

I'm falling apart.

There's no anticipation,

only complication.

I need your help

Because I want to die.

You are my salvation

And he is my love,

But he insists

That he is above.

Lord, I can't take this force,

You are my stronghold.

"You will lose."

Is what I told.

"If you make me choose."

Oh, my God,

Will you help me?!

It's life and death,

...And my life will lose...

I can't take this pain,

My heart and mind are in strain.

Release this from me,

Let me live again.

I am dying,

Lying on the floor.

I have slit my wrist...

My breath,

My life,

My pain,

My sorrow,

My blood...

Is no more.
