A Poem by -Insertnamehere-
"

I don't exactly know what this is. A story, or a poem. But this was an activity I did in my creative writing class with Karen Finneyfrock.

"
What would there be if there was nothing. What would there be if these small icy grey airplane houses disappeared from the room in which I've lived six strung out years. What would there be if the loud-mouth drunken roads tied up their tongues with satin so for once I could sleep until the sunrise. Or for the cat that walks in gulping up my fatigue with her paws as if it were fashionable to wake me up every hour. I am tired and I am desperate. I am longing for that day when my surrounding toy barbies pick up my siren and shut their tin doors to the face of my eyes raised at half mast trying to anchor at shore.

I know the last sentence is kind of a run-on. No need to comment on that.
