Cold as hell

where I should be tonight

It’s so cold

The winds don’t blow

My tears are the only thing that forms snow

I am alone

On this road

Waiting for the sun to come

In the cold

My heart is frozen

No one can help

For I can’t save my self

This road is the only ground I see

They sit there on their beaches

In the warm summer air

And I just walked down here

In the pits of despair

What did I do to not deserve the warmth too

Why is hell so cold

Or is this hell at all

I am on halls cold damp ground

So many tears before have put the fire out

You think it would

Be a peaceful thing

Not be touched by the flames of the sin

But all I want is the warm of a small sun rise

I am not even greeted by the moons faint light

I want through this world

With happiness around

Why can’t I feel that way as well

Why am I the only living being

Living in a cold hell

When you are lonely you can feel quite disconnected to the world but you are never alone cause so many feel the same way everyday... I do understand where you are coming from on this one... very nicely expressed.

I like the imagery in this piece. It carries both hot and cold emotions across in the visions....The feelings are felt as one reads.

line 15 "Myself"
Line 24... I think you met "Hell's"

Line's 29 and 30... "warmth" and the "but" in the beginning of line 29 would work better on line 30...starting line 29 with "all I want"

Line 31... "I want?" did you mean "I walk?"

The last two lines were my favorite. It's a question i've asked myself at times and the way you spoke it brings chills into the room.
