"I Love You"

"I Love You"

A Poem by Jenni-Chan

Oh what a beautiful day it is today.
With the sun shining-
lighting the way.

What a beautiful day
to hear him say,

"I love you."
The three magic words.

"I love you."
They shoot emotions
straight
to the heart.

"I love you."
You don't know
what to say.

"I love you."
But you know what
you'll always reply with

"I love you."
Even though you know.
You know it won't be true.

"I love you."
You can't stop yourself
from
pushing him away.

"I love you."
you can't stop it now.

"I love you."
You say them.
The words you dread.

"I hate you."
He breaths in sharp.
In pain.

"I hate you."
He knows it's not true.

"I hate you."
And yet it still
hurts him deeply.

"I hate you."
And they leave.
They leave in pain.

You cry.
You know it's not true.
You want to say them.
To say the words but to no avail.

The pain-
This curse!
you hate it.

You cry.
You scream.
You yell.

But you know there is nothing.
Nothing you can do about it.

He wont be coming back.
There is no way
No way to bring him back.

You want to die.
But you can't.

Alone you say the words.
"I love you too."
But there is no one.

No one to hear the words.
No one but you.

I am insane. But that is nothing new. Everyone who knows me knows that I can overcome any difference! Ahem. Excuse me. I can overcome any difference. Even my own insanity. Though arguing with yourself.. more..
