A Quiet Place

A Quiet Place

A Poem by Carmen Williams

This is a quiet place
here in the woods
where no one ever goes
and not a word is spoken

This is a quiet place
in the middle of no where
where only the wild things
know of it's magic

This is a quiet place
where there is no sound
except for the thunder in the distance
and the rustling of the trees

This is a quiet place
in the middle of the woods
where the sky is the only sound
where there's no chaos pain or judgement

This is my quiet place
where it's only me
the sky, the trees,
and the magic of the forest

All of us need a quiet place :) You've painted this beautifully. And, if we cannot go there in person, we can always go there in our minds.

Great poetry!
