Love, I think?

Love, I think?

A Story by Olivia Danielle

He looks at her. She looks at him. He tries not to avert his eyes, even though every fibre in his body is telling him to. The desperation in the air is so thick one could see it as a black fog. He closes his eyes, and presses his lips against hers. Her eyes are open. They both have the same thoughts racing through their head. How desperately they wanted to have a connection. A spark, or even a light in their eyes they could see when they pull back from the kiss. But there is nothing. He looks at the light haired girl he wished to obtain, while she gives a glance to the dark skinned boy she wished to obtain. But no one separates. All for the sake of saying they were together. They were both too attached to the fantasy to leave. Is it worth it? The answer circles their minds as clear as day. No, it’s not. But they’re in too deep. Once you go in deep, the road back is longer than the road out. No one separates. No one will. To them this is love.
