Tea house at the Rowan trees

Tea house at the Rowan trees

A Poem by Martin Pahorek

Behind the granite stone wall
We find it a refuge -
In comfortable space of gentle
Balanced dreams -
In reality of our love affection

Long deep wet grass
Blooming Primroses
Around the sand path
Leading to into woods
Dark and meaningful

Living branches are moving
In breath of silent wind

Higher - higher - higher - higher
Up - there -
At elegant crowns of Rowan -
Trees -
Higher - higher - higher - higher

Was hidden tea house
We have to climb on
Wet ropes to get in - inside
Where were candles
Already burning in scent
Of sea foams of shells

A magical place to be - around the -

We heard it
Chant of Julie Fowlis -

Brochain / domnhall binn -

We saw it moving wings of night
Outside at night dark woodlands

I read it
Some modern poetry
Too boring

We kissed each other
We fall to sleep when
Candles burn out in
Love and whispering
