monterey november

A Poem by annie lee
"

rengo

"

a cold front has moved

through, and the wind is gusting

out to the ocean,

stirring up the whitecaps and

chilling the sunlight; gray clouds

crowd the horizon.

soon the rainy season will

be upon us, and

hopeful croaks of the frogs will

turn to choruses of joy.

I remember the Monterey days of fall and winter. I spend three years at old Fort Ord in 1992-1994. I suicide boarded a dozen Winter storms. The good description took me to good places and memories. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You have described the very fundamental of the weather in Monterey in November in a short engaging piece.

Thank you.
I like it, a lot. It seems reminiscent of another piece of your, only instead of frogs there were tourists. Or did I dream that.
