Wash Me Away

Wash Me Away

A Poem by louanimal

My hips are impressed like the silent shore

under your unwavering ebb and flow

Your ungranted tide assults my sand,

every grain a prisoner caressed in salty seduction

Replacing dipped toes and giddy giggles

is my soft sigh, lost in the breeze of your greedy eyes

In that moment of you stealing everything I am

I long to hate you with the passion of thunder

But like this tide, your chest charmingly falls and rises

with the beat of my stolen heart
