Swallowed Emotions

Swallowed Emotions

A Poem by Quietstorm

From the moment i met him all I wanted was to make him smile.
The look on his face said he hasn't
Smiled in a while.
His face has been deprived since he was a child.
His persona speaks loud.
He stands out in crowds.
He's unique in his own way.
He creates his own style.
His soul grows beautiful by the day.
He seems to be at peace, even though he has no smile to display.
For he swallowed all his emotions,
Gave his tears to the universe for her to Dispose of them.
For he no longer wanted to feel
the damages that love had soon revealed to him.

Quietstorm
Don't be deprived of your smile, for that same smile might be the light in someone's darkness
