i'm independent

people reilly dont understand that when i dont wanna do ther s**t for them and when i say i hate my life its cos i dun rili like doing s**t that you are able to do, im capable to take care of myself.

I’m independent- you can see it when I don’t want to clean up a mess that isn’t yours.

I’m independent- you can see it when I want to be alone in  my room and I want to handle all of my stuff

I’m independent- you can see it when I won’t give up when I start something and I’ll get it done.

I’m independent- you can see it when I keep talking about getting a job and getting a car.

I’m independent- you can see it when I rebel against you because I want to do things on my own

I’m independent- you can see it when I already start on my career, even if I don’t see it.

I’m independent- you can see it when I won’t tell you I love you unless I mean it.

I’m independent- you can see it when I’ll keep in all my tears in and let them all out when I’m alone at the end of the day.

I’m independent- you can see it when I stay quiet and don’t want to talk

I’m independent- you can see.

I think it is interesting that the obvious point of the poem is that you are independent, but every point you make is defined by "you" making the conditions by which you are independent dependent on others. Very nice ironic structure.
