You sit alone and just let life pass

watching all your dreams shatter like glass

you can see the problems up ahead, yet you just hide

have you no pride?

 

Don't say its not true, I know you

and I know all the great things you can do

yet you sit there and do nothing everyday

what a shame seeing all that potential just thrown away

how could you let them all down?

look at you: Washed up, fallen.. on the ground

don't let your talent just die

don't let another opportunity just slip on by

 

I've let my life just pass

and never bothered picking up the broken glass

dont let time just go on by

this is your only life, you wont get another try

and remember to always reach for the sky

no matter how hard life can be

after all you... you're really just me

The idea/theme that you used is always a good one; don't give up on life, etc.

I'm not sure how I felt about the ending though, I thought it was a bit of an odd thing to say. But alright.

The flow was nice, and in all the poem was a good piece.

Other than all that the only other thing that bothered me was the "you = u" thing. I'm grammar-obsessed and I really can't help pointing that out.

But the poem was still good! :D
