The Morning After

The Morning After

A Poem by 8petallotus

You sit.
Appart.
Still ravaged.
Smelling sweetly.
The memories of the night before linger in your eyes,
On your lips,
As your smile wide.

The day wanes.
Though nothing has changed,
Still something stirs up your happiness.
Doubt floods your heart,
Your mind.
You ask yourself the same questions,
Everytime.
Though no answer satisfies.

What if, what if, what ifs
Plague.
Not that it matters any way.
You are already in too deep,
Because you feel too strong.
You would give everything away,
To the right one.
But they never seem to understand,
That it is almost all your bag.

Processing over.
Yet another night of senseless passion.
Wasted away
In another day
Haunted by thoughts of dismay.
Again you wonder if it was all worth it
Another usless experence,
As if you have not already had enough.
