3am Prayer

3am Prayer

A Poem by 8petallotus

I prefer the quiet solidtude of the night,
Who knows what secrects the darkness holds.
I will keep that trust given to me,
Over so many sleepless day,
And heart aches.
But I will hold my speach no more,
Of the abuses I feel done upon my soul,
Or the breaking of other things thought to go unnoticed.
Though my judgment is as absent as the sun,
Only a reflection of my thoughts waves,
I still will not let my voice be tamed.
And oh how I do perfer the peaceful solidtude of the dark,
And hearing the secrects of the night.
And the protective force of the moon from the sun.
I now know this lonleiness better than anyone.
