Enchanting Temple Tree

Enchanting Temple Tree

A Poem by 91995

I’m standing beneath a Temple Tree.
My tan face is bathed by the mellow yellow light
Coming through the spaces between the leaves of the tree.

I close my eyes, and take a deep breath.
The pretty heavenly smell of the flowers kicks inside my nostril.
To savor the smell,
I‘m standing there very still,
Feeling enchanted by Flower Spell.
With that very smell,
I long to savor the flowers with my sight.

The white petals expand nicely in the sunlight,
Contrasting with the glossy green leaves.
Now, my heart can’t resist this beauty.
I long to savor the flowers with my closer sight,
Thereby shaking the tree with all my might.
The flowers obey the gravity easily gracefully.
One of them falls gently onto my hands.
I look at its purely white petals,
And smell the flower again.
Then, my heart is filled.

I really enjoy this merry moment;
On that very ground of white hue,
I stand evermore like a statue.
