Looking Glass

Looking Glass

A Poem by A little tipsy
"

One own view into the soul.

"

Looking Glass…

Window branded on thy soul
Placed within to make ye whole
Do not forsake, or be misled
or simplify for thus ye dread.

No mask shall walk amongst thy peers
To hide behind in shadowed fears
Look not upon this life as dreary
Thus brings to ye divine fury.

Walk gently to thy guided fate
Thy willingness must be elate
Show not remorse for paths unseen
Thy steady faith will not careen.

Feel not dismayed if hopes depart
For kindly hands shall cradle thy heart
Bring to thy soul the grace of love
As though a gift from up above.

‘tis nobler man that holds thy faith
When eyes appear as thus displaced
To view ye soul through looking glass
Shall be thy judge of ye past.
