Crusade

Crusade

A Chapter by Aianarie (INACTIVE)
"

Instaurare omnia Christo~

"

Somebody save me from this nightmare

Before the darkness suffocates me whole

I’m awake, but I can clearly see

The walls closing in around me

Red roses have been painted gloss black

And the curtains in the theater of dreams

Have been pulled down

Everything is falling now

Everyone is calling out now

CHORUS.

Save us

From these changes

We don’t want the darkside of the moon to rise tonight

Take us

Far away from

These evil words that are trying to tell us how to feel

We just want to be real

In a world where they try to tell you what’s right and wrong

When they didn’t really know either all along

This world that was created out of love, the purest kind

It has been desecrated by their possessed minds

Nobody is perfect, I am no exception

But I’m trying, trying to build it back up

Everything that has fallen down

Everyone, sing it out loud

One day we will be able to silence the demons within our souls

When our prayers become more than silent words

Sin will evaporate like smoke into the sky

The fallen will continue to fall, but we will rise

We are the chosen; those who chose life

This is a battle, a war, not something to scoff at

Faith is our weapon, we must use it wisely

So fall to your knees now

It’s all that can be done now

Let Him hear that you

Are standing on His side against them

In this crusade of hearts

Whose side are you on?

Whose side are you on?

Favorite lines" And the curtains in the theater of dreams, when our prayers become more like silent words."
AWESOME wow, these two lines are my favorite, I can draw so many meanings form them and this whole poem. For ex. People who became strong stood up fought and won, and we have to do that too otherwise what do we do nothing, we become nothing. 100 rating for this poem:D

Wow, just wow. These are powerful, meaningful words. I think everyone should read this. It contains an important message for our world today. We need to stand for Truth.

Awesome job. This is poetic perfection.

Powerful flow of thoughts in the poem. I like the desire to know peace and have some answers. I like the questions at the end. Thank you for the excellent chapter.

These words resonate with many as modern times spin in the chaotic waves of today's dis-empassioned thoughts. It's a cry to everyone, harkening them to remember that the ultimate salvation is in the beyond and that our sins are the anchors that will keep us from reaching it. It's proffering the question to all, will you wake up and see, or will you continue to follow the blind course of sin and loose.

Insight and power flows passionately through this tapestry of words.
Very nice!
