For Fear of Change

For Fear of Change

A Poem by Josh

Though clever minds swear their fine,
it takes one so delude to see.
That walks of all but shortened kind,
keep sanity at hearts set free.

And simple larks of a fever break,
and let loose an army strong.
Lash me once for given thee,
and twice more for say I'm wrong.

You need not see the mirror's picture,
for in vain the image breaks,
Keep close thy simple bearings sir,
and watch closely, time so takes.

Yet hindered on we dally free,
only swine said Matt so true,
where in Jordan held them fast,
a wild heart as pure as you.

I give you one last guilt to bear,
and set you sail on sea's of conjecture.
That take your time my simple sir,
and hold close my soldered lecture.

For sleepless nights upon thy mind,
take toll and wear us thin.
and gain us no more ground my friend,
when worries take hold again.
