Noble Jazz

Noble Jazz

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

Jazz music on the radio and letting it flow

"

Liberation

comes from

self

Nothing

is giving

freely

Smoking opium with Jeremy El

On soft cushioned floor

Watching face covered bodies dance

Behind us a wizard conjures a glass sphynx

The one million names of God are writing in our ear drums

pin, needle,

angels dance on them

Shower of absinth spray

causes us to tear up

laugh

the green lady comes

Moorish lit

fills our den

Wine of Islam is almost prepared

dead

resurrected

so it goes

so it goes

an old gray eyed Moor sits across from us

I catch glimpses of him between bellows of smoke

the dancer divides us

a*s in face

milk filled breasts in face

she vanishes

The old Moor looks at me

smiles

face cracked from centuries of righteous living

He says: Half-original boy you know who I am?

I nod in the no

He says: Boy I'm your great, great, great, Greatest Father

From my seed your family sprang boy

We laugh

The way long lost relatives do

embionic sparks

turn off my head lights

going

going

long gone

astral surfing
