Art Problem

Sometimes it's difficult being an artist in this Capitalistic world

The problem with art

Is not the artist!

But the system which the artist must live

 

An artist is a creative being

Locked into dealing with anti-creative people

Forcing their black and white world onto the artist

Do this

Not that

Say this

Not that

Choking the joy out of being a free loving spirit

 

After dealing with the Blank Mind Clowns

After he has giving them a piece of art they’ll get rich from

The artist, the closest thing to a deity

Receives only a few dollars and cents

Starving

Unable to function normally

The artist keeps creating

Making the life vampires rich

While the artist dies in a cold, dreadful, dilapidated apartment

So it seems , someone once said to me artists walk with the gods. Artists are creators and instill creativity , the ability to think outside the box. A trait sadly lacking in the this somewhat mediocre world. Great write.

I sometimes like to think I'm an artist, and when I do I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by artists. My family is made of artists; sketchers, painters, sculpters. It's school I have trouble with, so many rules indeed. We have oddly frazzled and completely organized minds all at once, we can focus and wander. But the world only wants one part of the human brain, the logical part. But that's not really living, is it?
