A series of flowing thoughts with a serious reflection at the end

New Futuristic car

Aliens on my feet

Glow in the dark eyelids

Copper bands play digital pop noise fusion

Political correctness at every turn

Drugs and sex are currency

Moral denial still hangs thickly around the minds of the Old

Log in log out

Instant gratification leads to social decay

Blind eyes watching

All thought in cyber space

Electrometric impulses logged and dated

 

The future is no place for me

I’d rather be in my gradual present

Enjoying sex enjoying drugs

Watching the decay in slow motion

Slow motion

Wow, this future you speak about it is so close to where we could be as a society. I hope not, I do hope that society is and will be better then this but then sometimes you read the news, see things and well you wonder. Moral denial still hangs thickly around the minds of the Old is such a fantastic line. Great poem of a future none of us need or want.
