A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey

Sometimes it's easier to cling to a mythological past instead of what actually happened.

So many people cling to false facts

Chasing unfitted flames of time

Looking for that which lies in the past

Projecting which comes ahead of them

Disappointment they will always find

Read well your holy book

Shift the dirt out of your smudged past

Look not for Geezus

Rather, come to know Jesus

The real human, the real divine

Understand the keys

Separate symbolic meaning from the symbols

One way leads to human fire

The other way leads to human harmony

Does the wolf swallow the sun?

So many people cling to the false.
