Juno Song

Juno Song

A Chapter by Abdul Batin Osman Bey

inspired by my Kitty Juno Bear, Mortality through his eyes

One day I know I’ll have to let go

I’ll never know all there is to know

At least I lived free

In simplistic luxury

I always wished Ma and Pa lived like me

Gazing out windows taking in all the worlds beauty

But they’re trapped by humanity

Always moving restlessly

(Sad melody):

Meow, Meow, Meow

Meow, Meow, Meeeeow,

Meow, Meow, Meow,

Meow, Meow, Meeeee-ooooooo-wwwwwwww

I often think what the next horizon holds

Will paradise be a lap nap or a shoulder snuggle

Merging with the universe that keeps me happy

I guess I’ll know- suddenly
