Found Me

Found Me

A Chapter by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

about seeing my own grave stone

"

Tripping on my own grave stone

Seeing young me in the reflection

A different me

Far removed from who I am now

A gradual but steady change

I am no more who I was

Who will be in a few more moments?

No matter

The grave is the final destination

What a joy

What a wonder

Is this thing call existence

I feel like there is a deeper philosophy to this. I am always amazed with how you are able to say so much with so few words. I take from this the idea that we all die in the end, but it's how we live that makes a difference. And if we do all die in the end, then we should live the why we want, because someday we will see our younger selves and we will find ourselves in how we lived.
