Undesired Change

Undesired Change

A Poem by ATAM

A spell may cast in the light of the glorious sun

A monster may smell and thirst for blood in the eve of winter

An unexpected turn may lean towards the hopes of a positive one

But why can one disobey when his fall commands?

In time, light may shine in the direction opposing to what was traditional

A light that may change destiny into an even dazzling gleam

Come forth to what glows and nurture thyself from the greater

Although what was cherished that broke felt even stronger

An awe aches along astonishing absurdness

Dazed to one’s illusion most prefer

Bears befriending fishes left all perplexed and wistful

Comes back to the customary, and retracted to remorse

All the good that once transpired, all gone in an instant

The instance that gave one the opportunity of pleasurable change

Everything turned to dust by a decision trashed into the world

All that for the words tossed that only translates regret
