A Poem by Abhigyan

.....Relating human life and tree........

Strolling in my garden,

I saw a flower tree,

Full of hibiscuses,

Some sad and some in glee

Seeing ‘em I compared

Our world with that tree

And, I found out that

Yes they were similar, you see?

In this world of ours,

Men come crying as infants,

The same way as a bud

Shyly hides in his pants!

Child grows and grows

Into youth and teenage

Just like young flower, full

Of life, vigour and courage

As time passes

So does the sweet young age

Till man goes into,

The weak and lone old age.

Much like the old flower

That does not attract a bee

Owing to which

It never lives in glee

The last stage of man comes

And comes with so much vigour

That neither does it leave life

Nor its senile liver

Same way does the flower droop

And droop to such a depth

That one day it simply flops

And lay down on grassy bed

Thus ends the life of man and flower

In this worldly tree

So live your life before life leaves you,

And live it, meaningfully.
