The world history was beset by stories of human world wars and required the new era stories about guardian presences or angels, which is why mythology stories about the heroic Cossack horse-back saber warriors from Eastern Europe and Russia arose, to give soldiers in the World War trenches special unusual images of offbeat daring in times of great Earth calamity.

The presence of these 'Cossack ghosts' might represent a human interest in separating the yearning for treasure and fortune with the stark reality of modern warfare oriented human avarice and danger.

The modern-day vigilante Robin Hoods known as the Shadow pirates might therefore be construed as modern manifestations of these inventive mythological 'Cossack ghosts' on Earth. The Shadow pirates were like Interpol agents, robbing blood-diamonds or 'conflict diamonds' mined and financed in Africa/Europe by corrupt warlords/barons to fund new era terrorism. The Shadow pirates had become like 'Cossack ghosts' in their crusade to restore the integrity of the global gem matrix by destroying the power pyramids of the blood-diamond mining barons from Europe/Africa linked to terrorism. The Shadow pirates had become like comic book characters, perhaps!

In this new age of terrorism and government protests, we might think of 'Cossack ghosts' or Cossack comics as a pure reflection of the socialized need for formalized modernized mythologies, to restore our basic human sense of shared patriotism!
