Gotham is a troubled and darkened American city of strange crimes and requiring strange heroism, which is why there're three special masked super-vigilantes who go by the name(s) of Batman/Robin/Batgirl and care about protecting the long-term primal life of the people of this dark city.

Batman has ridden many kinds of cars and enhanced vehicles to prowl the city streets of Gotham late-at-night to check for signs of super-villains and criminally-insane terrorists like the Scarecrow who seek only to create inventive forms of terrorism. These 'bat-mobiles' reflect Batman's will to use machinery to exact swift patrols where the Gotham Police are simply helpless over the years!

BATMAN: We're going to rob Gotham Bank!

BATGIRL: Why the hell'd we do that, heroes?

ROBIN: I get it; we're to create anti-terrorism folkloric optimism, right?

Batman/Batgirl/Robin march into the Gotham National (bank) on a Tuesday morning and don masks and wield water-rifles filled with corrosive acid and demand to be escorted to the safe-box area of the vault where they can burn open the metal box of the capitalism-baron Falconi who's hiding blood-diamonds (smuggled African gems used to fund terrorism!) and create a special 'media stir' about fortuitous Robin Hood actions performed to downplay the 'mystique' of malicious corruption of Gotham city diamond traffic.

GOTHAM GAZETTE: We're having a normal business day in Gotham (as usual), and couldn't expect this 'red' herring!

The 'red' herring as the press put it was indeed the 'acid-rifles' the three masked super-vigilantes (Batman/Robin/Batgirl) carried into the Gotham National (bank) to prove a special media folkloric message/statement/theory about the nature of terrorism allure and the reactionary 'socialized need' to downplay the influence of capitalism-barons smuggling in terrorism-linked wealth/gems to create city underground profits at the expense of diamond darkness!

GOTHAM POLICE: We're not sure who these three masked 'anti-heroes' were really, but we're investigating Falconi.

Meanwhile, the two Gotham super-villains Joker/Harlequin were busy coordinating their own brand of city darkness in these troubled times. They're framing the poor mayor who's been scandalized for having an adulterous affair with a 'mysterious masked mistress' as a city ball, which was actually an invasion performed by Harlequin herself. Joker/Harlequin demand the mayor gift them $20 million or all of Falconi's blood-diamonds.

GOTHAM POLICE CHIEF: You see that we're dealing with new forms of city insanity.
BATMAN: No worries, chief; me and my associates are cracking these cases of 'banked' antisocialism.

GOTHAM POLICE CHIEF: I daydream of the day when our police station is sunny...and sane.

That day ain't today, since a new terrorist has risen named Killer-Croc who's stolen a batch of a bizarre biochemical growth-mutation serum from the Gotham Science Lab (GSL) and injected a batch into a baby alligator who's now grown into a huge maneating sewer menace. The Killer-Croc had given birth to a killer croc! Now Batman/Robin/Batgirl must prove to Gothamites that this 'killer-croc' is no bunny and ain't going to sully this new campaign to clean up the city's antisocial capitalism-terrorism stretch of banked democracy.
