Simple-&-Gold: Saturday's TimeshareA Story by Abishai100Diorama of Saturday college-athletics (football) in the West (American Homeland) for superstitious cleats of Earthling class.
A Saturday (college) football portrait/fiction inspired by the excellent American student competitiveness/sport vanities film The Program (James Caan), which I think you'll like (and thanks for reading),
DISCLAIMER: This work of sports fanfiction contains images/references with no ties to any representative persons(s)/body (e.g., Navy football) and is cast as purely a 'personal' expression for social art (for 'open' views/commentaries). ---- ==== There'd been so much record and folklore surrounding the California Gold Rush, but would it compare to the luster of 21st-Century Selfie-Internet age of languages for socialized/ritualized sportsmanship windows on the great custom of Saturday college football TV in the American Homeland, for post-9/11 era 'paranoia' for traffic-chimes? My name's Amlan Satan, and I began creating special new millennium stat-worksheets and diagrams of varied schools/teams for performance records for Saturday college-football TV performances October-November, as World Series baseball greatness gave-way to gritty touchdowns and cleats for the defense of Western 'worldly' ambition shamrocks (for leviathan/uncertainty). What would I focus on? Would I look at Army/Navy symbolism for Earthling (American) vanities for contest-windows, as TV-audiences, many youngsters, peered into the field life of student-athletics 'culture' on a special Saturday in October-November months for readings of special incomplete-bureaucracy arts for teams/schools governance fantasies (for the Ego)? I recounted my glory-days in college myself, in New England, when shared spaces and TV-amenity made for extracurricular 'consciousness' for this American Homeland of pronounced education/lifestyle excellence for Earthling superstitions. We learned of WWII and American folklore and organic chemistry and negotiated how coexistence, with students from just about everywhere, informed a deep-IQ for worded competitiveness (and institutionalism). GIRLFRIEND: Mini cheesesteaks for your Buckeyes-Nittany rivalry game today. ME: I've got so much stats on Penn-St., dear, I don't know what to plate now! GIRLFRIEND: Simplify (Facebook-like). ME: Cholesterol and escapism (good). I knew Penn-St. had a cool edge on this Saturday challenging their special rival, the Buckeyes of Ohio-St., and it made for an inspiration of a reflective tale I'd write on the Internet about what made college-athletics and student-lifestyle access-windows (TV!) a high-art for Earthling superstitions. That's an American Dream...and it's for just about everyone/anyone invested in the bread/fruit of constructed sociological rationale (for the Ego!). GIRLFRIEND: How's that psychiatry-session going with that ghost-vision you had? ME: I had this recurring fantasy (or nightmare?) about terrifying cheerleaders! GIRLFRIEND: I ain't mocking you...just wondering if you're obsessive with sports. ME: I'm male (ok). GIRLFRIEND: All's you need is some simplification (mini-cheesesteaks). ME: Selfie-like. GIRLFRIEND: Football's about war. ME: Education for invite-religion...and phantoms (cool). "Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2024 Abishai100 |
