Buried Motif

A Poem by Abraxasbird
"

So if the rain rolls down my cheek one night, and you are night by my side..

"
My hearts been breaking for a long time...
I've been watching you dance in the middle of a field
For what seems like ages now,
And still the wounds haven't healed...

You spin, endlessly exhilarated by he air, the cold, the dark..
You spin, and I just observe, you seem so strange so awkward...
But then my thoughts seem to point back to myself
Me, and my withheld heart..

When you stop, so suddenly,
And Fix your eyes upon me
My heart jumps, so suddenly,
You are upon me

Like the grace of God,
Righteous and unwarranted
And of coursed it seemed odd
You, the type so many coveted,
with me

Dearly beloved,
When you jump in the darkness
From the high heights of the cliff
Over the waterfall,
Imagine if you would
That you are the all,
As you plummet to unfathomable depths
Heart racing,
May you dissipate into greatness

So that one day...
When a dark cloud is following me,
And the sunlight is dying away,
When the road is lost in front of me,
And all I feel is the rain,
Washing over me
I can kiss the sky,
To ease my pain
