Weaver

Weaver

A Poem by Abyssmouse

Weaver!
I plead to pierce
this plot unknown.
why our steps fell
through this web of old.
It still gradually swells,
constant and fierce,
by the edge of our shell.
Does this tentative world
share our truths at all?

I must know!
Did those inmost dreams
shed knowledge extinct?
Maybe this quiet presence
forms rational tricks?
It's elusive essence
and omnipresent link
ransacks every sentence
leaving them impossible to fix
with my current patience.

Hence I turn this way.
For the power of our mutual nature.
Great lord of strings,
I know you through my being
from knowledge of invisible things.
Through my tranquil breathing
and my life's creator,
I sensed the twilight feeding
with the imbalance that it brings

I seek not a silver platter
Our minds reap aliments sown.
Guidance is a privilege earned,
Through our core existence
and all that was ever learned
by patience and persistence
the fleeting reality I own
by finding our distinction,
the light of knowledge that returns.
