Sonnet XVIII – Rainbow in the dark

Sonnet XVIII – Rainbow in the dark

A Poem by Adam Lebzo -RonninWarrior-
"

Don't we all?

"

I dream of a rainbow amidst this dark,

Where I may escape to its imbued end,

Where there’s nothing to anguish or cark,

And all my sempiternal wounds may mend.

In a quaint land beyond mind or logic,

Where all the weary, sad ravens may shed;

The dreary, malicious, burning heartache,

And the sore, unsounded, tears they throughout bled.

Where mermaids sing their fascinating tones,

By a halcyon lake free of past or pains,

And there I sleep without worries or moans,

Without fear, memories or rolling banes.

I dream of a rainbow amidst this dark,

Where there’s nothing to anguish or cark.

very pretty! Good imagery in it. It really painted a place of such wonders in my head! It actually remind me of Neverland:P lol if you take offence to that (though I don't know why you would) then I apologize but it was truly magically that's all! Please keep up the good work!
