Out of Sight

Poem for those who wish to break free..

Try as I might
I might as well die
Die inside as there's no heart
No beat, no pulse

Try as I stand
I might as well fall
Fall all the way down in a abyss
No light, no bliss

Everything, anything I try to do
Zips right pass their heads
Anything, everything I've done
Cuts my brain I've bled

I know what I must do
But to go to a place
A place where I won't learn
Is not something I yearn
I belong elsewhere, not there

Blind as black
Ignorant as white
They better stand back
Before I finally take flight

Had enough of there expectations
Come to me, my realizations
Together we'll go
And we'll fly right out the window..
